This novel turns a household of pets into a cast of fully realized characters, each with their own distinct personality, flaws, and comedic timing. At its core, it’s a tale about determination, family support systems, and identity. The pacing is brisk, the dialogue sparkles, and the comedic narratives are vivid and cinematic.
