Why choose Sublime Book Review?

Finding the right reviews for the right budget can be hard for an Indie or self-published author. And in many cases, you unknowingly pay for a review that is 100% guaranteed positive. While it’s nice for a reviewer to tell you your book is “the greatest book ever written,” this doesn’t necessarily help you, the author, and it certainly doesn’t help the industry leaders (librarians, booksellers, media professionals) make calculated decisions about purchasing your book or requesting your title for their library.

Challenges continue to develop in Pamela Taylor’s fictional medieval setting, ruled by the well-loved King Alfred, as weaponry evolves, and his children and mentors come of age. Supported by his family, friends, and advisors, he needs to protect his kingdom and his allies from enemies both known and unknown. A Feeling in the Bones is the eighth installment of this well-written and well-developed Second Son Chronicles series.

Faithful readers of this series will continue to be entranced by Ms. Taylor’s tale-weaving and research skills. The focus is slowly bringing in the next generation, and as times change, the traditional ways are changing with them. The author’s love of history is very evident, and she is adept at educating and entertaining the reader simultaneously. Some new characters are introduced in this novel, and they promise to add some interesting side stories to future installments. Although not as much action is involved as in most of the previous novels, the door is left wide-open for an exciting sequel to come, something guaranteed to appeal to Taylor’s fans.

Sublime Line:A Feeling in the Bones is another entrancing episode, preparing us for the next great adventure in this wonderful series.”
